Due to a recent notification of a price increase from our suppliers, we have made the difficult decision to announce that we will be increasing our prices across the range of services we provide.
As per our terms and conditions, we hereby give 1 month’ notice that from 1st January 2024 our service charge prices will be increasing. Please see details below.
With the upcoming PSTN/ISDN switch off and these products becoming ‘end of life’, our suppliers have implemented an increase of 15% on ADSL and FTTC products and 20% on Analogue and ISDN lines. We are proactively contacting all of our clients who will be impacted by this increase and looking at an alternative solution for your business.
There has also been an increase across our remaining products of 3.9%.
All price increases are applied on a like for like basis, meaning that if our price increases by 5p, your price will also increase by this value.
Please contact us over the next 30 days if you have any queries.

Over the last 6 months, it has been recognised that whilst the pandemic may be over, as businesses, we are all facing different forms of challenges that have subsequently arisen, not to mention the global political and economic turbulence.
After carefully analysing the economy over previous months and the costs being passed on to us by all suppliers and following the recent rise in inflation, we are writing to inform you of a necessary forthcoming price increase to your Chrome services. Please be assured, we have made every effort to delay this increase for as long as possible.
Effective from May 1st 2023, Chrome Telecom Limited will be adjusting your monthly recurring charges in line with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) plus 3.9%. Chrome uses the CPI figure published by the Office for National Statistics (www.ons.gov.uk) in February which was 9.2% plus 3.9%, resulting in a total increase of 13.1%.
Chrome will also be passing on the increase in costs incurred from suppliers on a select few services. This will be on a like for like basis, for example: if our cost increased by 20p, yours will also increase by this value.
Your new pricing will be reflected in your May 2023 invoice and can be viewed within your Chrome online account platform after this date, where you can also view your previous invoices.
To avoid any confusion, please also find attached a copy of our terms and condition where we draw attention to point 10.13 for any clarification regarding this increase.

At Chrome Telecom Ltd., we pride ourselves in providing our customers with cost-effective and future-ready services, including hosted voice and SIP trunking services. The UK telecoms industry is going through a major transformation with many fixed-line voice services migrating to hosted voice and SIP-based services following Openreach’s announcement regarding the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) switch off in 2025.
As a result, the price of calls in all voice services (excluding calls from mobiles) are regularly increasing as the cost to run legacy network services increases. We review any pricing increases carefully before absorbing or passing these on to our customers, but over the last 12 months we have seen a number of pricing changes from both our fixed line and VoIP providers. After much consideration, we must now unfortunately pass these increases on to our customers.
Therefore, from the 1 September 2019, out of bundle calls to all destinations across our fixed line and VoIP services (including but not limited to Hosted Voice and SIP Trunking) will be increased as a flat rate of 5%. Please note this does not impact calls from mobiles. Should you have an inclusive call bundle, please note you’re in-bundle free of charge rate will not be affected.

Dear Customer
The Coronavirus crisis is evolving quickly and affecting every business. We are continually working closely with all our key suppliers and industry bodies to seek ways in which we can support you, Our customers. We wanted to take the opportunity to ensure that you have access to the information on the Chancellor’s business support packages announced recently.
We are supplying this information as unfortunately at present we are unable to offer any form of payment or deferral breaks for the services you currently have with Chrome whether that be for Telephony, Data Connectivity, CCTV, Maintenance or any related services.
The UK Government has introduced a wide range of packages to help businesses such as yours (and ours) so that you can meet your obligations particularly with regards to essential business continuity services such as the telecoms and security sector.
Of course, should our suppliers such as BT Openreach, Talk Talk Business, Virgin, BT Wholesale amongst others agree to any business support for the business community then we will be only too happy to pass this onto our customers without delay.
However in the meantime we would urge you to keep paying your invoices to avoid suspension and disconnection of services.
