How long have you been working at Chrome Telecom?

What did you do before Chrome Telecom?

After travelling I returned to the UK and worked in bonds and investments at a Financial Services company as a service advisor.

What made you want to work at Chrome Telecom?

I wanted to work at Chrome because I knew the passion behind each person that worked here. All my colleagues truly care about one another and treat our customers as a name and not just a number. What did you start as, what roles did you go through and what are you now?

I started Chrome as an administrator, then worked my way up to a personal Account Manager. I’m now also a Provisioning and Networks Manager.

Do you think progressing was easy? Were you given enough opportunities?

Progression is only ever easy if you make it easy. Luckily Chrome always has opportunities available on the ladder, you just have to prove that you can climb it.

My team mates. I love my job because the people I work with are the best, we have so much fun. I never feel as if I can’t speak to anyone. Coming to work is never a chore because I’m surrounded by people I love.

How are you planning to progress next?

I plan on expanding my team. Growing my team in my department will allow not only myself to progress within the company but will also allow my peers the chance to progress too.

How do you attempt to inspire the team?

I think happiness is key. I want to inspire my team by always having a positive attitude. Happiness is contagious. If one person is pessimistic and negative this can have a big impact on the people around you. I always try to spread a smile.

Daniel is pretty big on fitness. By working at Chrome, I have become more committed to my sports and personal health. You start to realise that treating your body kindly also helps a lot with your mental health too!

I have been with the company since May 2019

What did you do before Chrome Telecom?

Prior to working at Chrome, I moved from my hometown in Wales to study at Solent University as a Computer Games Programmer.

Moving on from this I undertook a variety of roles in the Recruitment and Telecommunications industry as a Telemarketer.

What made you want to work at Chrome Telecom?

Out of all of my experience, the role I most enjoyed was in the Telecoms industry. I wanted to try something new whilst also sticking to the thing I was happiest in. When I saw that Chrome were recruiting, I enquired about the Trainee Telecommunications Engineer role and they were happy enough to give me the opportunity.

Apart from that, I had heard great things about the company and admired their values.
