Why use Chrome AI Services?

It can also create problems if it is added without checking your data, permissions, processes and people first.

Chrome helps UK businesses understand where AI can be useful, what needs setting up properly and how to keep control of the information behind it.

We can support AI readiness, Microsoft Copilot, business process support, voice assistants, chat assistants and transcription.

The aim is simple: help your team save time without giving them another tool to work around.

Find the right use case

We’ll look at where time is being lost before recommending an AI tool.

Check your data first

AI can only be as useful as the information it can access, and as safe as the permissions around it.

Support your people

Your team needs to know when to use AI, how to check the output and when a person should step in.

Keep one place to ask for help

Chrome can connect AI with Microsoft 365, your phone system, IT, cyber security and other agreed services.

What AI can help with

AI is most useful when it supports a clear task.

For many businesses, the best starting points are the jobs people repeat every day.

That might include summarising meetings, drafting emails, finding information in documents, noting down call details, answering common customer questions or helping staff follow a process, using business AI tools that fit the way your team already works.

It may also help managers see patterns in enquiries, call notes or customer conversations.

AI is not there to replace judgement. Your team still needs to check the output, make decisions and handle sensitive situations with care.

Chrome can help you choose use cases that are practical, useful and sensible to test. Small steps are usually better than trying to change everything at once.

AI that fits your wider technology

AI rarely works well on its own. It usually depends on the systems around it.

That may include Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, your phone system, CRM, call recording, cyber security, user accounts and device management.

Chrome can help connect the AI conversation to the rest of your setup.

That makes it easier to answer practical questions. What data can the AI access? Which users should have it? How will staff learn to use it? What happens when something goes wrong? Which supplier manages each part?

We’ll document what Chrome manages and where another provider remains responsible.

Check the data, permissions and people behind the tool

AI tools work best when the setup behind them is in good shape.

Before adding Microsoft Copilot, a chat assistant or any other AI service, it is worth checking what information the tool can access, who can use it and how the output will be handled.

This is especially important for businesses using Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, customer records, contracts, financial information or other sensitive documents.

AI can surface information that users already have permission to access.

That is useful when permissions are correct. It is less helpful when old folders, shared files or broad access rights have been left unchecked.

Chrome can help review the setup before users start relying on the tool. That may include Microsoft 365 permissions, SharePoint structure, account security, approved AI tools, licence requirements, user guidance and training.

The goal is not to make AI difficult to use. It is to make sure people use it with enough control to be helpful.

AI for calls, chats and meeting notes

AI can be useful where customers ask the same questions often, or where your team spends time capturing and passing on information.

Voice assistants can help answer calls, collect details, route enquiries and take messages.

Chat assistants can help website visitors or staff find answers from approved content.

AI transcription can help turn calls and meetings into notes, actions and searchable records.

These tools work best when the source information is clear and the route to a person is simple. They should also be tested with real questions before going live.

A helpful assistant is useful. A confident assistant with the wrong answer is not.

It is a sensible place to start if you use Microsoft 365, store sensitive information or want staff to use AI with more control. The review can help check permissions, data access, licensing and training needs.

Yes, where the right platform, information and handover process are in place. We’ll help you check what the assistant should answer, what it should avoid and when a person should take over.

AI can be used safely when the right controls are in place. That includes approved tools, clear data rules, user training, permissions, security settings and regular review.

That is not how Chrome recommends using it. AI should help people save time, find information and handle repeatable tasks. Your team still makes the decisions, whether you are exploring Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT for business or another platform.
